The sapling‑planting campaign in the Makrorayan area and the related project zones of Kabul city has officially begun. In this program, one thousand (1000) saplings of resilient and climate‑compatible species suitable for Kabul will be planted.

The main goal of this initiative is to expand urban green spaces, reduce air pollution, and improve the environmental quality for the citizens. This campaign is part of the broader programs of the Emirati Makrorayan Maintenance and Care Company, implemented to promote greenery, beautification, and better environmental conditions in Kabul city.

Company officials have emphasized that the saplings will be planted in accordance with technical standards, and that the cooperation of local residents is important for their care and maintenance. Organized work plans have also been prepared for this purpose.
